Ivchenko AI-25

Ivchenko developed the AI-25 for the Yak-40. The design stresses simplicity over performance resulting in a conservative engine. The AI-25TL is a long-jet pipe variant used in the Aero L-39.
The earliest flight I can find for the AI-25 is in 1966 powering the prototype Yak-40.
