Warner Aircraft was formed in 1927. Its first notable product, the 7-cylinder Scarab, came close to a clean sweep at the U.S. Nationals in 1928.
Warner got left behind during the big wartime build up. Its assets were sold to the Clinton Machine Corp. in 1950.
