Jabiru J400

The Jabiru J400 (4 seater)  has evolved from combining the best features of the LSA, SP & UL models all put together & coming up with a new clean sheet design that has combined features. It comes with the standard LSA wing span with fuel in the wings. The longer tail boom results in more elevator and empennage authority, reducing the stall speed to 45 kts and increasing directional stability. The J400 was developed as a great replacement to the GA alternatives i.e. Cessna 172. The aircraft had it's maiden flight in Bundaberg in the 16th of March as a two seater. The flight testing as a four seater has been completed with great results.

The Jabiru J400 will cruises at 115 knots on 20 litres/hour, depending on the options selected.

Jabiru have increased the Maximum Take Off Weight (MTOW) is now 700Kg  All of the Jabiru kitplane models have been structurally tested to 8.5g
