Cessna 180 & 185 Skywagon

The Cessna 180 began as an up-powered development of the Cessna 170. The first flight took place in 1952. Deliveries commenced in February 1953.
The 180 progressed through various models, with engine upgrades, until the 180G, with a third cabin window and seating for six. The 180 was an established utility aircraft, but was overshadowed as a high performer by the Cessna 182, from 1956.
It was joined in production by the Cessna 185 from 1960, similar but with a more powerful 260 hp engine and standard seating for six.
Total 180 production amounted to 6210.
